today's reading: Matthew 13: 24-46
The Kingdom of Heaven is like..........
- a man who sowed good seed in his field....
- a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field.....
- yeast that a woman took and mixed into a large amount of flour until it worked all through the dough....
- treasure hidden in a field....
- a merchant looking for fine pearls, when he found one of great value he went away and sold everything he had and bought it.
Contemplate carefully what the Lord is explaining in each of these parables.
The Lord is speaking to us about,"things hidden since the creation of the world." WOW!
Just say that outloud one time....
THINGS HIDDEN SINCE THE CREATION OF THE WORLD!
He is revealing amazing Kingdom Truths to us, giving us a glimpse into Heaven!
The Lord of Heaven, our Savior Jesus Christ the Messiah tells us plainly that the priceless treasure of Heaven is worth giving up EVERYTHING for!
I don't know about you, but I think that is a TRUTH worth listening to!
