Jesus is Lord

Todays readings are 2 Chronicles 17:1-18:34, Romans 9:25-10:13, Psalm20:1-9 and Proverbs 20:2-3

Romans 10:9-10

If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.

These  are simple but sometimes misunderstood scriptures.  The thing that we sometimes forget is that these are action scriptures.  Meaning that we have to do something.

It means to accept Him, and Him Alone as your Saviour, resolv-ing to make Him the Lord of your life, and to follow Him with all of your heart, mind, soul, and strength as long as you live.

What does Lord mean?  A person who has authority, control, or power over others; a master, chief, or ruler.

Let’s make Jesus our Lord today and declare that to everyone.
