Let’s all just praise the Lord
Psalm 117:1-21 Praise
the Lord, all you nations.
Praise him, all you people of the earth.
2 For he loves us with unfailing love;
the Lord’s faithfulness endures forever.
Praise the Lord!
Praise him, all you people of the earth.
2 For he loves us with unfailing love;
the Lord’s faithfulness endures forever.
Sometimes I think this is the only thing that can be done. When the day is going wrong or the kids are gone crazy. This is what is needed. You sit back and dwell on the Lord and his unfailing Love for us. It really is amazing to think of all of the blessings and love of GOD. I bet there is not enough paper in the world to tell of it all. What is that song. The love of God. It is an old hymn written by a Jewish songwriter redone by MERCYME. Very beautiful description of God’s love.
"The Love Of God"
The love of God is greater far
Than tongue or pen can ever tell
It goes beyond the highest star
And reaches to the lowest hell
The guilty pair, bowed down with care
God gave His Son to win
His erring child He reconciled
And pardoned from his sin
Could we with ink the ocean fill
Than tongue or pen can ever tell
It goes beyond the highest star
And reaches to the lowest hell
The guilty pair, bowed down with care
God gave His Son to win
His erring child He reconciled
And pardoned from his sin
Could we with ink the ocean fill
And were the skies of parchment made
Were every stalk on earth a quill
Were every stalk on earth a quill
And every man a scribe by trade
To write the love of God above
Would drain the ocean dry
Nor could the scroll contain the whole
Though stretched from sky to sky
Hallelujah [3x]
O love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure
The saints' and angels' song
To write the love of God above
Would drain the ocean dry
Nor could the scroll contain the whole
Though stretched from sky to sky
Hallelujah [3x]
O love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure
The saints' and angels' song
